If you choose to stay in Manhattan on the day of the wedding, please keep in mind that traffic between NYC and New Jersey on Friday afternoons in the Summer gets very heavy. It can easily take 2+ hours to get to our wedding venue from Manhattan on a Friday afternoon while it would only take 20 minutes during less busy times.
