It will be a Jewish wedding ceremony. Including traditions of the Ketubah (wedding contract) Signing, the Seven Blessings, and the breaking of the glass, among others. Men (and women) may choose to wear a yarmulke, which will be provided at the wedding, although it is not mandatory.

The ceremony will be held in Hebrew, English, and German.

How can I RSVP to the wedding?

Please use the RSVP page on this website and let us know whether you can come by March 11, 2025.

What is the dress code?

What about dietary restrictions?

The food will not be Kosher. There will be vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free food options.

Will there be parking at the wedding venue?

Yes, there will be parking available at the venue itself.

How do we get to the wedding venue?

There will be transportation made available from the hotels, please check back for more information. See travel page for directions if driving or using public transportation.

Can I bring my kids or a plus one?

We are only able to accommodate the number of guests specified on your invitation. If you’d like to bring your kids and they were not on the invitation, please inquire using the questions/comments section of the RSVP form.

Will there be additional events surrounding the wedding?

Yes! We would love to spend some extra quality time with those of you who plan to spend time in the area before/after the wedding. Please check back for more information!

Where can I stay during the wedding?

You may book a room within a designated hotel block at a discounted rate. Please visit the Accommodation page for more information.

If you decide to look at alternative hotel or Airbnb options, please note that traffic between NYC and New Jersey on Friday afternoons in the Summer gets very heavy. It can easily take 2+ hours to get to our wedding venue from Manhattan on a Friday afternoon, while it would only take 20 minutes during less busy times.

Who are the Accidental Cupids?

Raphaela is Julia’s highschool friend and Adrien is Jonathan’s highschool friend. We would have never met if it wasn’t for the two of them! Find out more at our wedding 😀

Please refer to the bottom of the “explore” section as well as the travel section.

When and where did you meet?

We met on February 5, 2012 (also known as the Superbowl Sunday where the New York Giants won against the New England Patriots) at a bar called Down the Hatch in New York’s West Village.

For how long have you been dating?

Since May 2015, so almost 10 years! We met in 2012, reconnected in 2014, and made our relationship official in 2015. We were in a long-distance relationship between Switzerland and the U.S. for 5 years, in a medium-distance relationship within the U.S. for 2 years, and we lived together in Boston for almost three years.

Is Julia converting to Judaism?

No, but she is still excited to embrace Judaism as part of their shared life as a married couple!

Will you still be in a long distance relationship after you get married?

No, from now on we plan to live in the same place! After the wedding, it is Jonathan’s turn to come live in Switzerland for a while.
